About Course
This is a practical programme covering digital health products, APIs, health data, interoperability, FHIR, AI, privacy, product management and real-world implementation.
Digital health is often taught as a collection of technologies: telemedicine, mobile health, electronic records, artificial intelligence and data. But knowing the terms is different from understanding how a digital health product actually works.
This programme takes you behind the interface. You will learn how teams identify health problems, understand users and workflows, define product requirements, work with APIs and data, think about interoperability and privacy, evaluate AI use cases, and plan implementation within real health systems.
Beyond lessons, you will complete practical exercises and progressively build a capstone project that demonstrates how you would translate a real health or public-health challenge into a digital solution.
What Will You Learn?
- Turn a health problem into a product concept, with clear users, workflows and requirements.
- Make a guided API request in Postman and understand the response.
- Assess health-data quality and choose useful dashboard indicators.
- Understand interoperability and how HL7 FHIR connects health systems.
- Evaluate AI use cases, risks, data needs and human oversight.
- Identify privacy, security, ethics and governance requirements.
- Plan product priorities, testing, implementation and adoption.
- Develop a portfolio-ready digital health capstone project.
